Amy Saylor – RN, CFRN, CMTE
Amy joined Life Link III in 2009 as a flight nurse at the Hibbing base. Prior to joining Life Link III, Amy was a registered nurse in the ICU at Fairview-Hibbing. She then worked in Crosby in the ICU/ER and was the Clinical Nurse Lead of the ICU. Amy then received her training for becoming a flight nurse while working as an RN in the ICU at St. Luke’s Duluth, which included caring for trauma, cardiac, neuro, surgical and medical ICU patients. In 2011, Amy received the STEMI Award from Essentia Health and in January of 2015, she received the 2014 “Pre-Hospital Care Provider” recognition award from Arrowhead EMS Association for “exemplary dedication and personal commitment to emergency medical services in her organization community and region.” She is on the Board of Directors for Arrowhead EMS Association and Minnesota Ambulance Association. Amy is also a NE regional educator for the LUCAS device grant, and the NE regional educator for AHA and Mission Life Line, MN division. She is a member of ENA, BCEN and ASTNA. Amy received her BA in Exercise Physiology from the College of St. Scholastica, and her AA in Nursing, Hibbing Community College, and Certified Medical Transport Executive from Medical Transport Leadership Institute.
