Description: Toxicology covers a wide array of substances, toxins, poisons and situations.  Four different toxicology related cases will be reviewed from beginning to end. If you want to gain confidence in responding and managing these challenging calls, this is a don’t miss session. Audience participation will be encouraged and live calls to the poison center will be conducted.

Objectives:

  • Identify priorities in managing toxicological related cases
  • Discuss treatment modalities for BLS and ALS responders for each case
  • Describe clinical effects that can be seen for each case
