Jeff Schultz – NRP, CCEMT-P, Instructor of Emergency Medicine
Jeff Schultz began his EMS career in 1982 as a volunteer EMT. He transitioned to a full-time EMT in 1984 and continued both full-time and volunteer EMS. He completed his paramedic education in 1987 at Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan and went to work for Croswell EMS in Croswell, Michigan. During this time he was awarded paramedic of the year in 1989 and 1990. In 1997, he began a career as a paramedic/instructor at Tri-Hospital EMS in Port Huron Michigan. Currently he works as a paramedic and an Instructor of Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic Medical Transport and Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences. He is a frequent presenter at EMS conferences around the country. He attended Rochester Community and Technical College for an Associate’s degree in Intensive Care Paramedicine and Oregon State University for his B.S. in Natural Resource Management.
